Your beautiful day is a glimpse, a blink, in this love story of yours.

You have dreamed of this day, most likely, your entire life.

So, this is where you grab your cup of coffee and write this down.

'I do not need a 5-minute by 5-minute schedule'

Sixteen years, I've captured love stories, and this never works, ever. And the minute you get off schedule by 10 minutes, the rest of the day is off.

So, deep breath and hear me.

Enjoy this day you've dreamed every day of.

Prep

Oh, the hustle of the morning. The blend of 6 different perfumes floating thru the air, the bobby-pins on the floor, the flower girl already got orange juice on her dress. Take it in, every person in that room adores you. These moments are my favorite. The details, the dress, the laughter and mimosas.

I will be in and out of the prep area for the first couple hours, capturing both sides of the bridal party, the venue, and all details.

First Looks

Yes please. Can this just be a thing? To avoid your favorite person on the planet up until you're standing at the alter is traditional, sure!

But shouldn't you two enjoy this day together?

Let him zip your dress up, let her put your gifted cufflinks on. Let them sit in awe as your final makeup touches are being done, live this day out together. This is your day, don't avoid each other for half of it.

family Portraits

Oh, my heart. It's all your favorite people on this planet, dressed to the nines, within arm's reach. What a blessing.

Just step back and love on them, portraits should be felt. Take this time to hug on them, catch up, laugh, cry. Standing straight and facing the camera is so last year.

I will spend about 45 minutes for this near, and during, cocktail hour

Okay, I said prep was my favorite... but it's definitely a close second to these.

Let's wander.

Let's explore all your favorite spots at your dream of a venue space. Let's get away from the guests, your family, and just breathe together. Grab a drink, a smoke, your veil, and their hand and let's go. Because these are the ones that everyone is framing, especially you. Your new profile picture depends on these moments.

We will spend about 45 minutes for this.

Either before the ceremony, immediately after you've eaten, or during sunset while everyone is on the dance floor.

Other than that... just enjoy your day, both of you. Be a part of cocktail hour, visit with guests, get a photo booth and skip the favors, sneak out for a make-out session, and most importantly... skip the 5-minute by 5-minute timeline.
